The Unfinished Arbor Trend Is Taking the Wedding World by Storm
I recently came back from the west coast last week and I can say with confidence that California truly is one of the loveliest places to say I do—and Montage Laguna Beach sure does represent! Today's creative genius from Gianna SanFilippo pulls from the scenery's natural elements with subtle tropical hints in the florals by Rogue + Fox Floral, sea glass and oyster shells. From Cavin Elizabeth Photography... This soft and sweet coastal inspiration came to life at The Montage in Laguna Beach California. The blend of whites, blush and mauve with neutral coastal elements like coral and sea glass was the perfect soft pop against the bright blue ocean directly behind it. Designer Gianna SanFilippo used tabletop and furniture pieces from Signature party rentals to tie the look together by creating distinct but cohesive decorative vignettes using dusty blush sea glass votives, rust colored tapers, mushroom coral and oyster shells.
Drew of Rogue and Fox created lots of texture by bringing in a mix of lush blooms, tropicals, roses and wildflowers in large and small arrangements down the center of the table and in the bouquet. The ocean views at the Montage are stunning, possibly the best in Orange County so we didn’t want to obstruct those with the ceremony altar. We made two freestanding floral arrangements at different heights to form an unfinished arch that would add a floral touch, but still allow guests to enjoy those 360 degree views.
Styled by TC dressed the bride in a stunning Willowby by Watters gown with tulle over floral lace and Generation Tux chose a classic slim cut tuxedo for the groom. A look that was both light and airy but still formal and structured. Just perfect! Even though summer is just around the corner, this look can transcend seasons and weather and work for couples year round. Enjoy!
