Uncrustables Releases New Meat And Cheese Bites
With the school year in full swing, there's a new lunchbox offering that couldn't have come at a better time. Smucker's Uncrustables, known for their small PB&J sandwich bites, has announced two new savory varieties.
Sure to be a go-to for busy parents, the new Uncrustables are Uncured Ham & Cheddar and Turkey & Colby Jack. Like the PB&J, the new ones come frozen so there's no preparation or mess to worry about. Simply toss it in the lunchbox with an ice pack. They're also ultra-snackable, making them perfect as a small bite between meals.
The two new Uncrustables join a collection of sandwiches that currently include the Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly Sandwich, Chocolate Flavored Hazelnut Spread Sandwich, Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jam Sandwich, and a handful of other freezer-to-lunchbox sammies.
"Smucker's Uncrustables have become a fan favorite," said Chris Achenbach, Director of Brand Strategy, The J.M. Smucker Co, in a statement. "Kids and parents love the fun flavors that began with PB&J. To offer an even wider variety, we have now added tasty, wholesome meat & cheese bites that are perfect for the lunchbox."
Over the past couple of years, Uncrustables have offered other savory options, like Taco Bites and last year's Uncured Pepperoni Bites.
Uncrustables' Uncured Ham & Cheddar and Turkey & Colby Jack will be available at national retail locations beginning in early October.
