Uncle Scrooge Explores the Marvel Multiverse in New Comic

Scrooge McDuck is making his grand comeback in a new collaboration between Marvel and Disney. A new one-shot comic will reimagine the character’s introduction from Christmas on Bear Mountain while taking the character through the multiverse on a grand adventure.

Uncle Scrooge and the Infinity Dime will be written by veteran Marvel writer Jason Aaron, who you’ll recognize from his work on Avengers vs X-Men, Thanos Rising, and other iconic stories. The comic will be illustrated by Paolo Mottura, Francesco D’Ippolito, and Vitale Mangiatordi.

In it, Scrooge will have to stop a variant of his from becoming the “incomprehensibly rich” Scrooge-Above-All. Marvel teases that we’ll see many different takes on the character throughout his journey, perhaps through the use of variants. Of course, no Scrooge story is complete without an appearance from his loveable nephew Donald. Other characters like Huey, Duey, Louie, and Gyro Gearloosewill also appear in the comic.

The title of the comic refers to the Infinity Gauntlet, an accessory that Thanos has used in the comics as well as the last two Avengers movies. Don't be surprised to see Scrooge get his hands on the iconic gauntlet, and maybe even face off against the Mad Titan on his adventure.
