Sometimes, our favourite celebrities have us scratching our heads with their fashion choices. Case in point: Emma Watson's Loewe blue dress that was seemingly gravity-defying thanks to its levitating neckline. Or Lourdes Leon's nude fashion campaign that had us wondering if she was modelling a bag or a bikini.
We currently have questions for Christina Aguilera following her latest social media post that saw the singer wearing her handbag as a... skirt. Stick with us. Xtina shared a photo of herself wearing a black t-shirt and pink sparkly micro mini skirt that *really* resembled a handbag, complete with top handle. Perspex heels and black rectangular sunglasses completed the look.
She captioned the post, "Precious Goods 🎀" with the second image providing a close-up of the skirt / bag in question, showing the bag's flap, lock fastening and tag in more detail.

It turns out, Xtina's skirt is the micro purse skirt from Berlin-based forward-thinking fashion brand Namilia's SS24 collection and is modelled on the Birkin bag with the same silhouette and details as the iconic Hermès handbag.
In Xtina's Instagram post, she included a clip of the fashion show that sees a model wearing Christina's exact pink purse skirt as well as a second model sporting a silver iteration as they strut down the runway.
A fashion moment worn by a fashion icon. We can't wait to see what Christina wears next.
