"The Umbrella Academy" Season 2 Finale Ending Left Us With Some Major Questions About S3
Another season, another apocalypse. At least that's how it is for our favorite characters in The Umbrella Academy season two. After trying to go back in time to prevent one apocalypse, they're now in the 1960s where it seems like another one is brewing. Of course, time is a very tricky thing and they don't entirely get things right. But season two still brings the Hargreeves back together for more crazy fun, tons of crazy battles, and one major cliffhanger that will certainly have fans wondering when the next season is going to drop. So what's next for our favorite family of superheroes? And what new enemies will they be facing in season three?

What is the Sparrow Academy?
Surprise! While the Hargreeves believed that everything would be back to normal once they got back to their timeline, turns out, things couldn't be further from that. Back at home, the family encounters an alive Sir Hargreeves (gasp!) and the mysterious Sparrow Academy (double gasp!). From the looks of it, they're ready for a MAJOR showdown. But just who are these mysterious kids? Is it the Umbrella Academy, but younger? Or is it a brand new group that was also born on the same day that they were?
Is that really you Ben?
Talk about a plot twist! Ben is actually alive, but he is certainly not the same Ben that they know and love. With the original Ben crossing over to the other side, chances are, that we won't see him in S3. However, this brand new Ben is totally different and it seems like Justin H. Min is going to have a lot of fun bringing him to life. So will he be an enemy? Or will he be open to working with his siblings?
What caused the timeline shift?
Time is super confusing, as we've seen throughout season two. However, the biggest questions has to be: Did the Umbrella Academy either traveled to a completely different timeline? Or did they completely shift it with the choices that they made in the 1960s? Depending on which one it is, there's probably a chance that they can go back home versus having to reverse everything they did. Either way, it will definitely be a big challenge for all of them.
What happened to Harlan?
The season two finale ending showed that even though Vanya believed she took her powers back from Harlan, he still has some left over. This can honestly go either way, depending on the circumstances of everything that happens after he escapes with Sissy. Will he end up being a hero? Or will he grow up to become a villain and will The Umbrella Academy have to face him in season three? There are so many possibilities!
What happened to Lila?
Lila ended up giving The Umbrella Academy a good fight, thanks to her ability to copy their powers. However, it looks like she was able to escape at the end of their big battle after the Handler was killed for good. So will she be going after them again in the future? Or will she be working with them as they try to figure everything out?
Will we see Pogo and Mom again?
With a possible new timeline, there's a good chance that Pogo and Mom are still alive with the Sparrow Academy. Will we get to see them reunite with the Umbrella Academy? Or will be super different since they don't even know who they are?
