Uma Thurman Cut Her Daughter Maya Hawke's Hair in Quarantine
Another day in quarantine means another day that a celebrity gives someone they're isolating with a makeover. We've seen the Hadid sisters bless their BFF with a haircut and the Willises shave each other's heads. Now, Uma Thurman is joining the ranks, sharing a photo to social media in which she appears to be giving her daughter Maya Hawke a trim.
The 49-year-old posted the image to her Instagram feed with the caption: "Home hair cuts bring us back home. We are all finding our selves again." I know if I was home with my mom, I would also be on a stool in my kitchen getting a trim — just like back in the day when I was too scared to have a stranger be that close to me with scissors. Hawke has a bob haircut and Thurman appears to just be trimming it to keep it even and maintained.
The 21-year-old Stranger Things star has moved back in with her mom during the quarantine. She shared in an interview with Nylon that she feels like the last three years of her life have been a dream, and now she's just a kid again with her family. "I moved out and got my whole life together and became a person. And this disease is like, 'Ha ha ha, just kidding! You're a kid, and you live with your parents.'" It's a feeling relatable for many of those who have returned home to quarantine.
Well, there could be worse things — at least you're getting a good trim surrounded by loved ones. Blessings: counted.
