If you were a Jersey Shore fan, you know those famous guys and girls love to have a good time—and *love* to look and feel awesome. And for cast member Vinny Guadagnino, that's totally still the case.

The self-proclaimed "keto guido" just published a cookbook of the same name after having ah-mazing weight-loss success on the keto diet ahead of the recent reunion show. Spoiler alert: The recipes are seriously delicious, and the book—which includes lots of personal stories from Guadagnino—makes the diet fun and interesting, which is a pretty difficult task when there are already so many keto cookbooks on shelves to choose from.

The cookbook: The Keto Guido Cookbook: Delicious Recipes to Get Healthy and Look Great (Rockridge Press), out today.

The author: Vinny Guadagnino, who you probably know from MTV's Jersey Shore. (More recently he appeared on Jersey Shore Family Vacation and A Double Shot at Love.) When Guadagnino showed up on the Jersey Shore reunion show, he had lost 50 pounds, and the health and fitness fanatic credited the keto diet for his success. He then started using the moniker “keto guido” and shared his recipes online, prompting fans to beg him for a cookbook. Their wish was his command: Now, in his cookbook, he's telling you alllll about how he got his health to where it is today, and what he ate along the way.

What you'll get: The cookbook includes some basic keto diet information for any beginners looking to try out the high-fat, low-carb eating plan for the first time—and also a weeklong meal plan and list of keto foods (and non-keto foods!) to make the intro process seamless. Oh, and there are over 100 recipes, some of which take 30 minutes or less. Rumor has it there's even a keto tiramisu recipe (one Amazon reviewed called it "wowzers"...just sayin').

Ingredients:

  • 2 bone-in porterhouse steaks (1-inch thick)

  • 6 tablespoons olive oil

  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/2-cup white wine

  • 2 rosemary sprigs

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Directions:

  1. Preheat the grill to high heat.

  2. Rub the steaks with 2 tablespoons of the olive oil and season them generously with salt and pepper.

  3. In a small bowl, stir together the white wine and the remaining 4 tablespoons of olive oil.

  4. Using the rosemary sprigs as basters, baste the steaks on both sides with the wine mixture.

  5. Grill the steaks, flipping them once, until they’re seared on both sides, 6 to 8 minutes in total (125°F internal temperature) for medium rare.

  6. Serve. Let the steaks rest for 10 minutes, then divide them between four plates, and serve them with lemon wedges.

Tip: Make sure your rosemary sprigs are fresh and have lots of needles on the end to create the perfect flexible marinade mop. Older rosemary sprigs will be stiffer and will impart less flavor to the steaks.
