Um, James McAvoy Beefed Up for an Upcoming Role & He Looks Damn Good

You might recognize him as the hunky stud from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Atonement and X-Men, but James McAvoy’s latest role transformation is by far his most epic one to date.

McAvoy shocked fans when he recently stepped out in Philadelphia looking more like the Hulk than the 38-year-old actor we know and love. He donned a pair of white sweatpants and a skintight shirt that offers a steamy visual of the actor’s newly chiseled chest.

Here’s what we know about McAvoy’s shocking new look: The Split actor is buffing up for his upcoming role in M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass, where he will portray Kevin Wendell Crumb (aka the Horde). But Crumb isn’t your typical meathead. In fact, he suffers from dissociative identity disorder and undergoes a body transformation with each personality.

We’ll have whatever McAvoy’s having because it’s clearly working. Glass is due for release sometime in 2019.
