Um, Is Ariana Grande Going to Perform With NYSNC at Coachella Tomorrow Night?

• There’s a very real possibility that Ariana Grande will bring NSYNC onstage during her Coachella performance tomorrow.

• Ari has been hinting about the collab on Instagram.

Coachella is off to a solid start this year, with Selena Gomez making a surprise appearance during DJ Snake’s set last night to perform “Taki Taki” and Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry providing us with the first glimpse of music-festival PDA of the season. But now what the people (read: me) really want to know is: Is Ariana Grande going to perform with NSYNC tomorrow night or what??

Ari is headlining Coachella on Sunday, and she’s been teasing on Insta that she might do a collab with the ’90s boy band. Plus, Entertainment Tonight points out that Ariana’s song “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” samples the NSYNC song “It Makes Me Ill,” so it would kinda make sense for her to bring them onstage.

On Thursday, Ariana posted an old video of her and her mom at an NSYNC concert on Instagram, and the video hilariously pans to baby Ari singing along in her mom’s arm. And then later that same day Ari also posted a video of herself dancing and lip-syncing to the NSYNC classic “Tearin’ Up My Heart’ with the caption “The best medicine 90s baby 🎧📹.” And if that isn’t a hint that Ari’s up to something, then I don’t know what is!

And if it does happen, it’s nice that Ari is getting to do something that will clearly be a lot of fun for her-she recently shared photos of scans of her brain, and they showed that she has “terrifying” PTSD levels. But Ariana has been healing with music, and last month she shared an emotional Instagram post saying, “music really saved my life and turned everything around.” And with how much music Ariana has been dropping lately (have we even had a chance to discuss “Monopoly” yet??), she’s pouring herself into her work, including her current Sweetener tour and upcoming Coachella performance.

So let’s all keep our fingers crossed that NSYNC shows up in Indio tomorrow night!
