The Ultimatum: Queer Love fans have same reaction to this Aussie moment

Netflix's The Ultimatum: Queer Love's final chaotic episode and dramatic reunion dropped yesterday (7th June), and amongst all the shocking revelations and heartfelt declarations of love, there was one hilarious moment viewers couldn't get enough of.

The final episode saw the five queer couples decide whether they wanted to get engaged or breakup, after one half of each couple had issued the other an ultimatum to get married or end their relationship. Weeks of trial marriages with a new partner and current partner led up to their final decisions, and there were some rather surprising outcomes.

One sweet surprise was that after a few weeks of doubt surrounding whether they could make their relationship work, Aussie and Sam got engaged. The couple had faced many challenges in their relationship, with Aussie constantly avoiding confrontation and difficult conversations being one of the biggest stumbling blocks in their year and a half relationship. Leading up to the decision day Sam was questioning whether Aussie was ready to be what she needed in a relationship.

When it came to the proposal day Aussie was ready to show they were ready to be with Sam and proposed. However, just before Aussie proposed with a lovely ring, Aussie gifted Sam a rock and viewers found the moment very funny.

To give a little context, Aussie presented Sam with a labradorite protection gemstone after explaining a very sweet story about penguins finding their soul mates.

Aussie explained: "So there are two species of penguins that live in the Antarctic and when they find their life mate, they search along the shoreline of the pebble beach and look for the right rock, the perfect rock, to present to their life mate. I felt that was a story I could relate to, because I feel like I’ve found my lifelong mate in you."

Despite understanding the sweet thinking behind the gesture, many fans of the show found Aussie's presentation of the rock to Sam hilarious and shared many meme reactions to the scene on Twitter.

One person shared a picture of shocked face of Prince Harry, captioning it: "When Aussie pulled out that rock before the ring."

Another said: "Aussie with this rock!! Lmaooo that’s just good TV."

And another said: "I was not expecting Aussie to pull out an actual rock lmaoooo."

It's safe to say Sam seemed a little less than impressed when first given the rock, however, Aussie quickly carried on with their speech and then proposed to Sam with a real ring, which she happily accepted.

The pair are still together now and are planning two weddings. We do just have to wonder, where is the rock now?
