Would we all love to have a Dyson vacuum? Sure we would. Can we all afford to buy a Dyson vacuum? Nope. Thankfully, there are some very good alternatives priced considerably less.

This one, in fact, is even less than usual right now: For a limited time, and while supplies last, the Ultenic U11 cordless vacuum cleaner drops to $159 when you clip the $40-off coupon and then apply promo code RickVacuum at checkout. Yep, this deal comes straight from me to you. (Well, straight from Ultenic to me to you. But it's still an exclusive!)

The U11 is billed as a "4-in-1 stick vacuum," which isn't entirely accurate. To my thinking it's a 2-in-1, a stick vacuum that also functions as a hand vac (the latter great for cars, stairs and other tight spaces).

But Utenic considers the included attachments in that equation. So, yes, if you count the dust brush and crevice tool, it's a 4-in-1. I won't quibble too much on that, because overall the U11 is a really solid sucker.

For starters, it comes with a stand, one you can put just about anywhere. So many similar vacuums rely on wall-mounted docks, which can be really inconvenient (to say nothing of an eyesore).

When you use the U11 as a floor vac, it automatically detects when you move from hard floor to carpet and adjusts the suction accordingly. (Speaking of which, it tops out at 25Kpa, which is a respectable number in the, er, suction biz.) Pop loose the stick and you can attach a motorized mini-brush for hand vac chores.

I will note that the vac itself is a little heavy, meaning it can get tiring to use after a while. Also, the dust bin is a little on the small side (not uncommon in vacuums like this), so it needs be emptied fairly often. But that's super easy to do, barely an inconvenience.

A lot of similar vacs sell in the $200-$300 range. This one at $159 (remember: with code and coupon) is a pretty sweet deal.
