Uh, so Now It Looks Like Maybe Bella Hadid and The Weeknd Aren’t Back Together??
The Weeknd’s rep says the singer attended Bella Hadid’s birthday party earlier this week as a friend.
Bella and The Weeknd reportedly left the party together, sparking rumors that the two were dating again.
Okay, everyone, put away the streamers and the party hats because it looks like despite previous reports, Bella Hadid and The Weeknd actually aren’t back together.
If you’re wondering what I’m talking about, yesterday, it seemed like Bella and The Weeknd were back on after breaking up two months ago. Abel showed up to Bella’s 23rd birthday party on Thursday, and a source told E! that “he was with her the entire night and they left together to go back to the apartment they both shared. You could tell that they were definitely in love and they both looked very happy being around each other.” The source also shared that the exes had been talking for the past couple of weeks, saying, “Abel reached out to Bella first, checking in to say hello, and she agreed to meet up with him.”
However, now a rep for the singer is saying we’re all very much mistaken and Bella and Abel aren’t together again. The rep told People that “they just attended [Bella’s birthday] as friends.” The Weeknd also seemingly addressed reconciliation rumors when he reportedly wrote “Imagine obsessing over someone’s relationship that u don’t know sh*t about” in his Instagram Story.
So while this doesn’t mean Bella and Abel aren’t ever going to get back together (they have quite the on-again, off-again relationship), it does seem like for now, these two aren’t an item.
