Uh, Kate Middleton Is “Furious” About Increased Workload Following Meghan and Harry’s Royal Exit
Kate Middleton is “furious” about her increased workload following the Sussexes’ departure from royal duties.
The responsibilities on Kate and Prince William are now “enormous.”
A giant puddle of royal tea was just spilled by Tatler, who spoke to multiple sources about how Kate Middleton’s handling her increased workload. And apparently, the Duchess isn’t thrilled that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s departure from senior royal duties has left her with more responsibility.
“William and Catherine really wanted to be hands-on parents and the Sussexes have effectively thrown their three children under a bus,” an ~insider~ told the magazine (via Vanity Fair). “There goes their morning school runs as the responsibilities on them now are enormous.”
A friend of Kate’s also said that the Duchess “is furious about the larger workload,” adding: “Of course she’s smiling and dressing appropriately, but she doesn’t want this. She feels exhausted and trapped. She’s working as hard as a top CEO, who has to be wheeled out all the time, without the benefits of boundaries and plenty of holidays.”
Kate and William have been isolating in their country home amid the coronavirus pandemic, but they haven’t stopped working and have been highly visible on Zoom. Although to be honest, Kate’s seemed pretty upbeat and excited about her work, so let’s take this all with a grain/giant fistful of salt.
