Uh...Here's Why Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater Were Holding Hands, According to a Source

Mauricio Umansky and his Dancing With the Stars partner Emma Slater made headlines yesterday when they were spotted holding hands after having a one-on-one dinner in Beverly Hills. Obviously, said hand-hold comes amid Mauricio's separation with Kyle Richards, and has raised questions. Actually, just one question: are Mauricio and Emma secretly dating?

The answer? Unclear, but TMZ spoke to "sources with direct knowledge" who said that the "hand-holding was spurred on by a deep convo" that Mauricio and Emma had during dinner. Turns out the pair were discussing their upcoming dance for the theme "most important year of your life" and Mauricio "opened up to Emma about why 1996 was so pivotal for him."

They reportedly bonded a lot over the course of the convo (FYI, 1996 was the year Kyle and Mauricio got married), and "they felt far more connected and closer than ever." That said, TMZ's sources "couldn't say" if there was anything romantic going on between Mauricio and Emma.

Anyway! Now seems like a good time to revisit Brooke Burke's recent comments about her experience on DWTS for no particular reason!!!!
