UCI Shares Sneak Preview Of Brazilian World Cup Course

The first stop on the 2024 UCI World Series gets underway in three days and even though it is just an XC race, we are very excited to see the circuit back.

The UCI shared a sneak peek of the first course in Mairipora, Brazil this morning. Take a look at the two spy shots they leaked down below.

We have as much information on the course as you all do, but it looks like it'll be a doozy on those 100mm travel XC bikes. Sure, that looks very manageable on a modern enduro or even trail bike, but when you factor in that these racers are spinning laps on this with bikes that have 66º head tube angles, it gets much gnarlier.

We still have a little less than a month until the first downhill World Cup of the year in Fort William but in the meantime, a little bit of XC action and Crankworx Cairns is not a bad way to kill some time.
