UCI Releases Preview of Bielsko-Biala DH Track

For the first time ever, the UCI World Cup Downhill circuit will visit Szczyrk Resort in Bielsko-Biala, Poland.

See the official preview of the track from the UCI below.

Though the preview only features footage of the track in pristine condition before it's fully ridden in, it gives a good idea of what the course will look like.

The Bielsko-Biala World Cup course features a lot of jumps and smooth berms, though there are some off-camber sections as well. The course will start at the mid-station of Szczyrk and has about 1500 feet of vertical drop.

A German language media outlet did a more in-depth preview of the course. Watch their analysis below, though you may need subtitles.

On Thursday, athletes will put eyes on the course during the track walk before putting tires on it on Friday. Stay tuned for a guide to the weekend of racing.
