An Uber Eats customer certainly didn’t request this disgusting surprise on the side when he placed his delivery order.

According to WPLG, a man in Florida named Leo, who asked that his last name not be used by the news outlet, ordered dinner from a Japanese restaurant near his Miami hotel, only to discover there was one extra ingredient.

He reached into the bag delivered to him and what he first thought was a napkin turned out to be a pair of underpants soiled with what he assumed to be human feces.

“Who thinks that you’re going to get delivered somebody’s dirty underwear?” Leo told the outlet. “Disgusting, unhealthful, it’s potentially deadly.”

Leo was visiting Miami for Art Basel when he ordered the dinner. After he went outside to meet the delivery driver to get his order, she handed it over and suddenly ran away. “I grabbed the food and right when I got the food she took off running and I was like, ‘That was kind of odd.'”

He brought his food inside and started to unpack. “I thought, ‘This,’ when I was pulling it out, ‘This sure is a fancy napkin,’” Leo told the news outlet. However, it was then that Leo realized what he was holding — thigh-length stained underwear.

Leo tossed the underwear back inside the bag and called Uber Eats, the restaurant and the police. Uber has since refunded Leo’s order and removed the courier from the app while it investigates. Uber tells Yahoo Lifestyle that the courier had no previous safety reports.
