Working out while wearing a mask can be tricky for plenty of reasons, but one of the major issues is that the face covering might not be made for exercise. Under Armour changed all that when the company released its UA Sportsmask.
This mask is specially designed for athletes, focusing on airflow, a cool feeling, and an ideal fit for running and training. Of course, all of the R&D that goes into creating something like that isn’t cheap, and it usually comes with a hefty $30 price tag. There’s a lot to love about these masks—and plenty of people do. They’re made with the top notch, high performance Under Armour materials that’s made the brand such a mainstay for athletes. They’re also made to be worn all day and when you’re playing sports.
The mask features a structured design to help it sit off of your face and lips for extra comfort and breathability. It also has a water-resistant outer shell with smooth, breathable spacer fabric and an anti-microbial treatment on the inside to keep your mask fresh and stink-free.

Under Armour even took the fact that you’ll be sweating in this mask into consideration. The mask includes polyurethane open-cell foam to let air through, while making it tough for moisture and sweat to pass. That doesn’t mean you’ll be hanging out with a sweaty mouth, though: The fabric is specially designed to move moisture from your mouth to the insert layer.
Oh! And it has cool-to-the-touch UA Iso-Chill fabric on the interior lining and ear loops to help keep you comfortable. The Sportsmask even has built-in UPF 50+ sun protection.
