The U.S. Marshals Are Auctioning Fyre Fest Merch to Benefit Scam VictimsDefault

Life is funny sometimes—one day you're peddling a music festival built on dreams and the disposable income of rich kids' parents and the next, you're $26 million in debt and fielding cash offers from Hulu to talk about your own demise in jail. Whatta world! And since the drama of the Fyre Festival is seemingly never-ending, Vulture reported this week that you can even own a piece of a the catastrophe for yourself. According to the report, the United States Marshals Service has obtained two boxes of Fyre Festival merchandise that will go up for auction to help offset the cool $26 million debt that McFarland owes, well—everyone. While the list of vendors that McFarland scammed is long, we kind of hope that someone decides to start with the good people of the Caribbean whose livelihoods were turned upside down after McFarland and company failed to pay local Bahamians for services rendered.
