They were produced on Sept. 5, 2023 and shipped to distributors in Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Tyson received consumer complaints of small metal pieces in the product, which it reported to the Food Safety and Inspection Service. So far, one minor oral injury has been reported as a result.

Consumers are urged to throw away any affected products immediately, or to return them to your point of purchase for a refund. Anyone with questions about the recall can defer them to Tyson Consumer Relations at (855)-382-3101.

In other worrisome food news, nearly a million pressure cookers were recently recalled due to improper markings that can lead to burns if consumers accidentally overfill them. Several thousand air fryers have also been recalled due to an issue with a wire connection that can cause the appliance to overheat, potentially leading to fires and/or burns.
