Tyra Banks Was Spotted Wearing A Ring On ~That~ Finger Recently
Way back when, Tyra Banks was everywhere, thanks to her modeling career and then the reality show phenomenon that was America’s Next Top Model. But while Tyra has largely kept out of the spotlight since having her son York in 2016, she’s about to be back on reality TV, thanks to her new gig hosting Dancing with the Stars.
So, it’s only natural to wonder what Tyra’s been up to, including the deets on her love life. Like: Does Tyra have a husband? Is she dating anyone? Here’s what you need to know.

For the record: No, Tyra isn’t married. She’s never been married, but she has had some serious relationships—and she’s in one now.
Is Tyra Banks engaged?
No, but there were definitely some rumors lately. Tyra was first spotted with businessman Louis Bélanger-Martin in October 2019, and she was seen leaving her theme park ModelLand in Santa Monica, Calif., on Aug. 8 with what looked like a big diamond ring on that finger. (Page Six has the pics.) Despite that, a source told Us Weekly that Tyra is “not engaged.”
Before that, Tyra was in a serious relationship with Norwegian photographer Erik Asla for years.
Tyra and Erik dated from 2013 to 2017, per People, and the two had York together in 2016. York was born via gestational surrogate, and Tyra said she and Erik had several failed attempts at IVF before that. “I’ve had some not happy moments with that, very traumatic moments,” she told People. “It’s difficult as you get older. It’s not something that can just happen.”

A source told Us Weekly that Tyra and Erik’s split was “drama-free” and that the former couple “are friends.”
Tyra has been in relationships with many powerful and famous men over the years.
Before her relationship with Erik, Tyra dated investment banker John Utendahl from 2007 to 2011. A source told Page Six that Tyra went “on a spiritual trip,” after the breakup, adding, “Tyra has gone away with a female friend and has been island-hopping, visiting Bali and taking a spiritual retreat.”
She also reportedly dated Italian entrepreneur Giancarlo Marcaccini in 2005, according to British Vogue, and NBA player Chris Webber from 2001 to 2004, per Entertainment Tonight.
Tyra tends to be pretty under the radar about her love life, and her relationship with Louis is no different. So, will they get married? TBH, it's really tough to tell.
