Tyler Is Now...Defending Luke P. for His Behavior on ‘The Bachelorette’?

  • Bachelorette frontrunner and very handsome man Tyler Cameron just came forward defending Luke P. on Twitter.

  • As those who watch the show may know, Luke is the WORST.

This season of The Bachelorette has TRULY been a wild ride, mostly thanks to Luke P.’s villainous antics (and Jed’s girlfriend coming forward mid-season). Luke managed to threaten other contestants, slut-shame Hannah MULTIPLE times, lie to just about everyone, and throw other men under the bus. And as we saw on The Men Tell All tonight, Luke also crashed a rose ceremony after being sent home because, according to him, Hannah is “making a mistake” and he “knows without a shadow of a doubt that she still has feelings for me.”

And while we all obviously know that this guy is the WORST, apparently Tyler doesn’t think so? ’Cause weirdly, Tyler is now coming to Luke’s defense on Twitter. He wrote:

“I can’t help but have respect for anybody who goes on this show and puts themselves out there. Your [sic] immediately placed on the chopping block for the world to come at you. I have made a lot of jokes about Luke, myself, and other cast members on this show. They were meant to be taken lightheartedly and not seriously. Luke, we may not agree nor do we have the same beliefs, but I wish you nothing but success and growth in your future and hope that you achieve all that you want to achieve in this world. No one should be condemned forever.”

It’s fair to say that no one should be condemned forever, but I think Luke should at LEAST apologize to Hannah for slut-shaming her. And even on The Men Tell All tonight, Luke showed his true colors, saying, “From day one coming here, I felt like I was on a rescue mission for Hannah. That’s how I look at it. I really felt like I was something that was going to be good for her as a future husband.” And that’s some misogynistic BS—Hannah doesn’t need your protection, dude!

So while I get that Tyler is a nice guy, I don’t think Bachelor Nation is ready to forgive Luke just yet. I’m certainly not!
