With a roster of hits to his name, country performer Tyler Hubbard is cruising back to the Iowa State Fair bringing the promise of good times to attendees this summer.

Hubbard is scheduled to take the Kum & Go Stage on Aug. 11 at 8 p.m., the first Friday of this year's State Fair. Tickets for the forthcoming performance, ranging from $25 to $55, go on sale at 8 a.m. this Friday.

The country star's debut solo album, "Tyler Hubbard," is set to release for sale and streaming on Jan. 27, with 18 songs featured including Hubbard's first single, "5'9" and his latest single "Dancin' In the Country."

Regular Grandstand-goers will recognize Hubbard from his 2018 appearance at the State Fair with Brian Kelly as part of the celebrated country duo Florida Georgia Line. That 2018 Grandstand show featured country music singer Jillian Jacqueline as a special guest and was cut roughly 30 minutes short due to "weather and expected lightning."

Opening for Hubbard this summer is Parmalee, a four-man, platinum-selling country band known for songs like "Take My Name" and "Just the Way."

This year's appearance from Hubbard will be a solo show given Flordia Georgia Line's apparent end after a final offical performance from the duo at the Minnesota State Fair last summer.

Before that final show, Florida Georgia Line also appeared in Iowa last year during the Hy-Vee IndyCar Weekend with a concert line-up that also included Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and Tim McGraw.

Formed in 2010, Florida Georgia Line's debut single "Cruise" was downloaded nearly seven million times, achieving the status of the first-ever country song to receive the Diamond certification. Other hits from the band include "H.O.L.Y." and "This is How We Roll," the latter of which features Luke Bryan.

Late last year, Iowa State Fair organizers also announced country music star Eric Church with special guest and fellow country artist Jackson Dean ("Don’t Come Lookin”) as part of the Grandstand line-up for the coming summer. More announcements for the State Fair are expected in the coming months.
