Two Women, One Jumpsuit: Tinashe and (Pregnant) Blake Lively’s Drape-y Red Stunner

Blake Lively is well-known for her chic fashion sense, so it’s not surprising that other celebrities end up wearing outfits she’s been photographed in (knowingly or not).
The latest star to cop Lively’s style is singer Tinashe, who arrived at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards wearing a drape-y red jumpsuit by designer Juan Carlos Obando that we’ve seen Lively in before.
Lively wore the jumpsuit while pregnant to the 69th Cannes Film Festival in May, coupling it with a delicate gold necklace and hair thrown up into a tousled ponytail. Tinashe, on the other hand, wore her hair pulled back into a sleek bun to show off gold earrings.
The major difference in each woman’s outfit is the way she chose to drape the striking red scarf that punctuates the look. Lively left hers flat against her neck with both ends of the ribbon flowing loosely down her back. Tinashe wore the ribbon like a scarf, wrapping it around her neck and letting it hang to the side. Lively’s version has a belt, while Tinashe’s style skips the cinch for a little bare skin instead.
Considering that this jumpsuit from Juan Carlos Obando’s Autumn/Winter 2016 collection has now been worn to two big events by two celebrities in only a few months, we’re guessing we’ll see knockoffs in the future.
