The Hangover

What happened in Vegas, didn't stay in Vegas after the first Hangover movie.

The 2009 comedy starring Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms went on to spawn two sequels, The Hangover Part II in 2011 and The Hangover Part III in 2013. A decade later, members of "the wolf pack" have expressed interest in returning for a fourth film.

"I would probably do Hangover IV in an instant," Cooper said on an episode of The New Yorker Radio Hour podcast in November 2023. "Just because I love [director] Todd [Phillips]. I love Zach. I love Ed so much. I probably would. Yeah."

Similarly, Helms has told PEOPLE that "of course" he'd be up for Hangover IV. The Office alum said in 2023, "I mean, [costars] Bradley [Cooper], Zach [Galifianakis], [director] Todd [Philips]—these are some of my favorite people on the planet, so I would do anything with them. Oh my God, I would do anything with those guys.”

Fellow Hangover alums Heather Graham and Mike Tyson would also be interested in appearing in another film. Funny enough, Graham and Tyson reunited in a casino to attend the launch of craps, roulette and sports betting at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood on Dec. 7, 2023, where they spoke about their hit comedy.

"It makes me feel like I'm in Las Vegas shooting The Hangover," Graham told Parade at the event celebrating a new era of gaming in Florida.

The Chosen Family director added, "I'm having a total déjà vu. And then I just saw Mike Tyson!"

Meanwhile, Tyson said, "I'm very proud of that movie" and admitted that he "would like to" be in another Hangover film.

Will there be a The Hangover 4?

A movie is not in development, nor has one been confirmed. Although some cast members have expressed interest in The Hangover 4, another sequel does not seem likely to happen, at least not at this time. Cooper said on The New Yorker Radio Hour podcast, "I don’t think Todd’s ever going to do that." Helms later told PEOPLE, “Like Bradley said, it is highly unlikely Todd would be up for it." Maybe if there's enough buzz?

Who is in The Hangover 4 cast?

There is no confirmed cast for The Hangover 4, because the movie has not been greenlit. However, The Hangover's original "Wolfpack" is comprised of Alan played by Zach Galifianakis, Phil played by Bradley Cooper, Stu played by Ed Helms and Doug played by Justin Bartha—and it's hard to imagine a fourth movie without them.

The casts of the films have also included Ken Jeong, Heather Graham, Jeffrey Tambor, Sasha Barrese and Mike Tyson.

Is The Hangover 4 currently filming?

No. Although some cast members from previous installments of the franchise have talked about their willingness to do another movie, The Hangover 4 is not in development at this time.

Is there a release date for The Hangover 4?

Nope! There's gotta be a script, a cast and a movie first.

What is The Hangover 4 about?

There is no plot for The Hangover 4, as the movie is not actually in development, but we'll go out on a limb and say that if it were to happen, the story would follow the Wolfpack as they overcome great odds (and plenty of danger) to reach their final destination.
