Two business team up to provide self-care for women living in shelter

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Blo Blow Dry Bar and Waxing the City are teaming up to treat women at the Barrett House Emergency Homeless Shelter to a day of self-care and pampering on Friday, May 10.

Women living at the shelter will be treated with services including hair style blowouts, makeovers and eyebrow waxing services. Through May 10, Blo Blow Dry Bar and Waxing the City will be accepting donations at all locations. Donation items needed are canned goods, hygiene items, new bras and underwear for women and children, and cleaning supplies. Anyone who makes a donation will receive 25% off their purchase at Blo Blow Dry Bar or Waxing the City.
