Twitter thinks Prince Charles fell asleep during the royal wedding
Poor Prince Charles! It’s been quite a week for the royal, who stepped up at the last minute to take Thomas Markle‘s place by walking Meghan Markle partway down the aisle at the royal wedding.
Nobody would blame the future king for being exhausted — but does that warrant a quick nap during the ceremony?
Twitter is blowing up with hilarious tweets with images of the prince looking like he’s catching 40 winks in his seat at St. George’s Chapel, as his son Prince William keeps watch.

Do you think Prince Charles actually fell asleep? Or was he hiding a smirk during Bishop Michael Curry’s impassioned sermon?
And if he did fall asleep, is Prince Charles symbolic of us all: slightly frazzled by the emotion and excitement of the day and now most definitely in need of a good nap?
