Twitter Reacts to Kim Kardashian’s Credit Card Earrings

Cha-ching! That’s the sound of Kim Kardashian swiping her credit card…wait, what? They’re earrings, you say? 👀 💳

Yes — and they cost a pretty penny, too. Kim made waves on her way to film Good Morning America in a full Balenciaga outfit, including their highly-sought after (and sold-out) $425 black card earrings. The reality star's style statement has us thinking about what other necessities we could turn into high-fashion moments — car keys? Phone chargers? The possibilities are endless.

Twitter had a strong reaction to Kim’s $$$ outfit, with one user tweeting, “Are they contactless pay enabled? Does she tap to pay with her head at the payment terminal? How does that work?” They aren’t American Express Black cards but they sure look like it — just another reminder of how much dough Kim (and the rest of the Kardashians) are rolling in with their crazy net worths.

Even though her funky credit card earrings aren’t currently in stock (or, you know, at an accessible price point for most people) there are plenty of wacky, whimsical earrings that’ll help you achieve the same sort of vibe.

The reality star (and lawyer!) wore a sleek, skin-tight black turtleneck bodysuit with black gloves as well as yellow and black pantaboots — a.k.a. pants that have boots attached at the bottom. They’re a signature Balenciaga piece, along with their Hourglass bag that Kim carried on her way into the studio. She accessorized with large black wraparound sunglasses and of course, her credit card earrings.

Kim styled her bleach blonde hair into a slicked back half-done bun, letting her ends rest against the back of her neck in a ponytail-bun hybrid. The business mogul has sported that same undone bun on multiple other occasions, styling it with a navy suit look as well as wearing it to the Fendi afterparty with a sheer, sparkling gown.

Either way, Kim seems to be having lots of fun with fashion recently —she's melding the super minimalist vibe that Kanye encouraged her to try back when they were married with a futuristic, experimental energy that is pure Kim. We love to see it!
