Twitter Has a Lot to Say About Gwyneth Paltrow’s Sheer Golden Globes Dress

Gwyneth Paltrow’s 2020 Golden Globes outfit is the talk of Twitter right now.

The Goop founder made it clear that she did NOT come to play when she stepped out on the red carpet Sunday night wearing a boho long-sleeve sheer gown by Fendi. She embellished the high-neck brown dress with dazzling silver earrings and a large statement necklace. TBH, my jaw is still on the floor.

Almost immediately, her outfit prompted all sorts of reactions online. Some said they were “obsessed” with her rather daring and “stunning” choice, whereas others were less than enthused about her look.

“I have no words. ‘Confused’ is the best I could come up with,” one fan wrote. “[She’s wearing] pretty much nothing...,” another noted.

What’s more, Gwyneth got Twitter going when she did her red-carpet interview with Ryan Seacrest and turned around to reveal her totally see-through backside.

Gwyneth has proved before that she’s a fan of sheer fabric. For her last Golden Globes appearance back in 2015, Gwyneth presented an award in a bubblegum-pink Michael Kors dress that featured a cutout plunge with a sheer illusion-panel décolletage. Well before that, she opted to wear a nearly see-through beaded light-blue Giorgio Armani dress for the premiere of Shakespeare in Love in 1998.

Needless to say, Gwyneth has always known how to work a carpet!!!
