Jo Koy's awkward opening monologue left many viewers cringing at home.

Swifties noticed that Taylor Swift seemed to have a less than pleased reaction to Koy poking fun at her Kansas City Chiefs game appearances.

In happier news, Swift's reunion with BFF Selena Gomez of course went viral.

Kylie Jenner attending the Globes as Timothée Chalamet's plus one seemed to at last legitimize their romance in the eyes of many X users.

Other surprising couple news of the night? Ali Wong and Bill Hader made their relationship Golden Globes official tonight, too.

X users were just as surprised as Elizabeth Debicki to hear the announcer unexpectedly say her name in the middle of the presenters's speech.

Ayo Edebiri gave a heartwarming shoutout to assistants during her acceptance speech for her first-ever Golden Globes win.
