Twitter Is Furious at Kylie Jenner Asking Fans to Pay for Her MUA's GoFundMe
- Oops!Something went wrong.Please try again later.
Kylie Jenner, person who is a literal billionaire, is getting a ton of criticism online for not paying the full amount of makeup artist Samuel Rauda's GoFundMe. Samuel was tragically involved in a serious accident, and the GoFundMe was set up by his loved ones to help cover medical expenses following an expensive major surgery.
Kylie Jenner sparks fury by asking fans to help raise $60,000 for her friend Samuel Rauda’s surgery after donating $5,000.

Kylie promoted the GoFundMe on Instagram, encouraging her followers to donate money towards Samuel's medical bills. Which, yes, promoting a GoFundMe is definitely a nice thing to do! But again, Kylie is a literal billionaire, and a lot of people were shocked to find out that she she didn't just pay the full GoFundMe amount—especially considering she has worked with Samuel in the past. Instead, Kylie donated $5,000—the same amount as actress Bella Thorne, who's worth $12 million.
Twitter was quick to call out Kylie, with comments like "kylie jenner bought her toddler a $15,000 handbag but is asking her fans for money" and "It’s not even about the fact that she won’t pay for the surgery herself. Every single last one of Kylie Jenner’s sisters is a millionaire. Her parents are millionaires. Her friends are millionaires. But she asked the MIDDLE CLASS for money. This family……"
why is kylie jenner asking for donations to fund her makeup artist's surgery when she's a billionaire

I hope this Kylie Jenner situation makes it very clear that when the Kardashians act like they “donate behind the scenes” and “do good that we don’t see,” it’s simply not true. They don’t donate shit, I promise.

Her makeup artist apparently needs $60k. Kylie Jenner paying that would be like someone with $100k net worth sparing $6.72 to pay off a friend's medical bills.

It’s not even about the fact that she won’t pay for the surgery herself. Every single last one of Kylie Jenner’s sisters is a millionaire. Her parents are millionaires. Her friends are millionaires. But she asked the MIDDLE CLASS for money. This family…… pic.twitter.com/zFqeeBvuY3

Kylie Jenner bought her *literal baby* a fucking $15k bag...
And then when her stylist got into a car accident and needs $60k emergency brain surgery,
she STARTED A GoFundMe and only donated $5k.

At this point Kylie hasn't responded to backlash. In an update on March 20, Samuel's family said "It has been a week since Sam’s accident. It has not been easy. In the midst of it all, Sam continues to fight, showing us how strong he truly is. Please continue to send prayers his way."
Sending lots of ❤️ his way for a succesful recovery.
