It's officially Inauguration Day, aka the long-awaited moment when President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris made their way into the White House to begin changing America as we know it. And the stars turned up to celebrate! Many musicians were invited to the inauguration and evening concert to perform, and Demi Lovato was among them, giving a stirring performance of the late Bill Withers' song "Lovely Day."

This is hardly the first time Demi has involved herself in political affairs—during the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, she made her dislike of former President Trump known by performing her pointed song "Commander in Chief" at the show. Happily, the circumstances are different this time around—instead of condemning the person in charge of the nation, she's leaving her listeners with hope for a better, more unified tomorrow.
