Twitter Is Completely Obsessing Over Blue Ivy’s Cameo in Beyoncé’s ‘Lion King’ Music Video
Beyoncé just dropped the music video for “Spirit,” a new song from The Lion King live-action soundtrack.
Everyone is collectively losing their minds over Blue Ivy Carter’s, aka Bey’s oldest bb, appearance.
What were you doing when you were 7? I’m pretty sure I was learning to ride a bike, drawing with felt pens, or pestering my mom for platform Limited Too flip-flops. Standard 7-year-old stuff—unless you’re Blue Ivy Carter, who just appeared in the music video for “Spirit” alongside mama Beyoncé. Never mind that (a) she is 7, (b) literally Beyoncé is in the video, and (c) Twitter is convinced Blue Ivy is the real star of this whole thing.

Everyone saw Blue Ivy’s music video, right? Her mom made a cameo in it.#SpiritMusicVideo pic.twitter.com/440VNnh4gW

ICYMI, Bey actually produced and curated The Lion King’s entire soundtrack. “Spirit” is the first single from the album, confirming that a Lion King movie with the original number of Nala solo songs (read: zero) basically would have been a crime. The video hit YouTube today, featuring some clips of the animals (in case you understandably forgot that the movie was sadly not just shots of Beyoncé dancing in the savannah). More importantly, Blue Ivy twins with her mom in a matching pink dress. The results are both adorable and fierce:

Of course, this isn’t the first time Blue Ivy has been in the spotlight. She’s made a cameo at the Grammys, twinned with Bey countless times, and walked more red carpets than the majority of us ever will. TBH, would you expect any less from Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s firstborn?! However, with this new music video, Princess Blue’s reign is basically confirmed.
Blue Ivy didn’t have to snap this hard. Beyoncé who? #SpiritMusicVideo pic.twitter.com/vF4oNR2Cmu

Does this mean we’ll be seeing some cameos from Rumi and Sir Carter as early as 2024? Only time will tell.
