Twitter Is Calling This Cat a "Demon" After Night Camera Shows What He Does to His Owner

From House Beautiful

Cats are treasured pets—so much so that owners have even gone as far as building them custom bed frames and nightstands. And although it’s a well-known fact that kitties can pretty much sleep anywhere at any time, cat parents still love to cuddle up with them at night. But for one particular owner, his cat was actually the reason behind his breathing issues at night.

“I couldn’t breathe when I slept, so I installed a camera,” reads the owner's Tweet. Accompanying it are three black-and-white pictures showing a cat staring at him in the dark and then proceeding to lie on his face, explaining why the Texas native couldn’t breathe while sleeping.

Of course, Twitter immediately started sharing its thoughts, with the most popular one being “Your cat is trying to murder you.” Others tried to soften the blow by giving a compliment before being honest: “That cat seems sweet but believe me, he's tryin' to kill you slowly,” one person wrote. “Good night human,” another added.

But it seems like this “demon” cat climbing on top of its owner isn’t an uncommon scenario. Twitter users started sharing their own experiences of being in this same situation. “My cat used to do that to me! I only found out because when I woke up from my recurring dream of suffocating, the fat b*stard was sprawled out on my face,” an individual wrote.

Others didn’t go into detail and simply wrote, “Same,” with attached pictures.

It goes without saying that cats act unusually sometimes. But it's also clear that their human owners don't mind it...too much.
