A new Zendaya era is upon us.

The first trailer for the actress's upcoming new film Challengers premiered today and the internet quickly lost all cool over the clip. The Luca Guadagnino directed film, which also stars The Crown's Josh O 'Conner and West Side Story's Mike Faist, follows the actress portraying a tennis star who's career was cut short by an energy and the lifelong love triangle she shares between her husband (Faist) and her former lover and best friend, (O 'Conner). Per the film's official logline the movie will center "three players who knew each other when they were teenagers as they compete in a tennis tournament to be the world-famous grand slam winner and reignite old rivalries on and off the court."

While the film was teased to be a complex story by the director, and one could describe the trailer as sultry to say the least. The role is easily Zendaya's most sensual yet with clips teasing threesomes and a remixed version of Rihanna's "S&M" soundtracking the trailer. (Considering Guadagnino also directed 2017's Call Me By Your Name, this shouldn't come as as surprise to most). Guadagnino previously described the film as a story about a trio of "f-cked up people" at a recent press call for his previous film, Bones and All.

“I think those three characters in that movie are beautifully complex and really fucked-up people that I love very much. And a sports film, why not?" the director previously shared. "It’s hyperkinetic, and I do films, so it’s great."
