TV Personality Maria Menounos and Husband Keven Undergaro Welcome Newborn Daughter via Surrogate (and Reveal Baby Name)
TV host Maria Menounos, 45, and her husband, Keven Undergaro, 55, are now the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl!
The couple just announced to the world that they welcomed their first child together via surrogate on June 23. In addition to sharing the exciting news, the pair (who have been married since 2017) revealed the name of their newborn daughter: Athena Alexandra.

While sitting down with US Weekly for an exclusive interview, Menounos candidly revealed that having Athena become a member of the family was one of the “most special moments” of her life. She added, “The doctor literally grabbed her and hiked her onto me. I sat with her on my chest, and Keven and I kept looking at each other like, ‘Oh, my God.’ It was just pure joy.”
And not only that—we were also treated to a first glimpse of Menounos and Undergaro’s baby girl. On the latest cover of the new US Weekly issue, the couple is holding their newborn daughter, who is wearing a blue and white ruffled dress.
Back in February, the former Access Hollywood host confirmed she and her husband were having a child on Instagram. Alongside a clip of her sharing the news on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Menounos wrote, “We are overjoyed to share that we are finally gonna be parents!”
And the soon-to-be mom gave a special thanks to the surrogate carrying her child, writing, “Thank you to our incredibly generous surrogate and her family for this blessing!”
