Tuxedo Cat Claiming the Baby Crib As His Own Is Such a Boss
A lot of couples usually start off with a pet before adding a human baby to the family. But when that tiny human does come, pets might get jealous. They think they're not the baby anymore or that they were forgotten. Although, sometimes, the pet will make sure you never forget who is the original baby.
That's exactly what TikTok user @taylornsmith19's cat did. This adorable Tuxedo Cat sneaks into the baby's room and likes to claim the crib as his own. It's adorably hilarious. Take a look!

O.M.G. This is honestly one of the sweetest things we've seen a cat do. He looks so snuggly in there. That's probably because he thinks they created this whole room just for him. LOL! To be fair, we would think that way if we were in his paws. He's just a baby!
"If reincarnation exists I wanna come back as this kitty," wrote @clizag. SAME! He is completely unbothered, enjoying his peaceful rest without the crying baby nearby. LOL! @weeabooass added, "He’s like, 'You said it was for the baby right??? Well, I’m the baby so it’s for me!'” He does have a fair point there. We wouldn't want to argue with the king of the house!
As adorable as this is, it's important to recognize whether or not your pets are actually jealous of the new baby because it could cause some drama. There are plenty of ways to identify if your cat is jealous. Signs might include your cats making a mess of the litter box, using the floor instead, hiding, not making eye contact, and fighting. The earlier you can address these behaviors and signs, the sooner a solution can be made.
