It Turns Out Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck Are Major Fans of *This* Hit Show

In November 2022, Yellowstone broke ratings records when over 12 million fans tuned in for the premiere of season five. And we're willing to bet that one of Hollywood's biggest couples, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, was among that number.

During his interview on The Bill Simmons Podcast, Affleck revealed that he and his wife are actually huge fans of the Dutton family—and there's one particular couple his wife is shipping.

"I'm kind of disturbed that my wife really likes Yellowstone," the actor said. Referring to Rip and Beth, he added, "Part of me thinks that she's really drawn to the romance between Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly."

As it turns out, Lopez introduced Affleck to the show and, thanks to his history with one of the actors, he decided to join the Yellowstone bandwagon. He said, "Jen showed me a clip of her off of Instagram, the monologue she has with the kid in the car about the ways to become rich. And then she was like, 'I love this story of these two.' I was like, 'Wait a minute? With Hauser? With Cole Hauser? What do you love about it?'"

Years before Hauser got cast in the Western drama, he actually worked with Affleck on multiple films, including School Ties, Dazed and Confused and Good Will Hunting. And now, Affleck believes Hauser was made for his role as ranch foreman Rip Wheeler.

Affleck said, "He is very convincing as that guy. I think America believes he is Rip." We couldn't agree more.
