It Turns Out Ben Affleck Isn't Done Being Batman After All

Aquaman star Jason Momoa has announced Ben Affleck's return as Batman for the Worlds of DC sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

Momoa posted a series of photographs on Instagram of himself and Affleck smiling, along with a video which appears to show a Warner Bros Studio Tour buggy full of tourists stumbling upon the actor's trailer.

"REUNITED bruce and arthur. love u and miss u Ben WB studio tours just explored the backlot alright. busted on set all great things coming AQUAMAN 2 all my aloha j," Momoa captioned the post.

In the video, Momoa greeted the fans he walks a few steps to a not-so-secret trailer marked "B.A".

Laughing, he joked: "Well, it's not a f**king secret any more is it! Sorry, children. That's what happens, Warner Bros, when you walk out of our set and there's our fans. Hey guys, have a good time."

Still laughing, he continued: "We tried to keep it secret!" before opening the door to Affleck's trailer while still filming and saying: "Sorry, bro. Whoops!"

James Wan's sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, due to land in cinemas next spring, will see Momoa reprise his role as the title character.

Affleck previously revealed why he quit playing the role of Batman after the release of Justice League in 2017.

"I had a really nadir experience around Justice League for a lot of different reasons. Not blaming anybody, there's a lot of things that happened. But really what it was is that I wasn't happy. I didn't like being there," he explained.

"I didn't think it was interesting. And then some really shitty things, awful things happened. But, that's when I was like, 'I'm not going to do that anymore.'"
