Being the best-dressed guy in a room: 10 out of 10 stars. Shopping for clothes? Eh, 4 out of 10 stars (on a good day). Let's be real, my guys, running around from store to boutique, trying on clothes, and doing the mental ROI conversion means brick-and-mortar shopping can be a bit of a drag. And yet the rewards you reap are so wonderful.
Well, luckily we live in the magical year of 2023, when technology proposes a solution to even the most vexing of modern problems. The folks at Amazon who have been at the forefront of online purchasing since its earliest days, have come up with one for clothes-shopping: Try Before You Buy.
It is exactly what it sounds like—a program where you can try your potential goods before the ca-ching of that cash register. And you do it all at home. Amazon Prime members have access to the initiative, in which you can order up to six items for a weeklong try-on period. Keep what you want, send back what you don't, and you'll be charged only for the items that stay with you. It’s kind of like having an entire mall in your phone, with your bedroom as the dressing room.
Truly, the frictions of shopping have been completely smoothed away, friends. No driving around town, no trying to find parking, no getting home and realizing that you already have something similar in your closet, or these shoes don’t really go with anything you have—there's none of it. Just a box of cool things arriving at your doorstep and a box of no-gos on the way out, with a new outfit or two left behind to enjoy.
Here, three boxes we plan on ordering this fall, and why.
Cozy Boy Fall
Lots of people think that fall is the most stylish season, thanks to its crisp but not cold temps, which are ideal for layering (and more clothes = more chances to show off your impeccable taste). So stock up on some classic pieces that are big on cozy vibes and won't ever go out style, from iconic brands that are household names (for good reason). No matter how you wear them, you can rest assured you'll look great.

Workout Warrior
The days of wearing some ratty old T-shirt and baggy shorts while shuffling to the gym are gone. Now, looking good while exercising is as important as the workout itself. To meet the moment, a slew of athletic brands now make sleek, stylish gear with aesthetics that match its performance. We suggest trim-fitting options that are all in a similar color palette—black, gray, white, maybe navy blue—so you create a modular gym wardrobe that you can mix and match with ease: above-the-knee shorts, compression base layers, form-fitting tops. From there you can add some pops of neon in the form of accessories like shoes or sunglasses.
