MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — For those who missed Tulip Day in New York City — a Tulip Festival featuring 15,000 tulips will be displayed in Manhattan this weekend.

The West Side Community Garden is kicking off its annual Tulip Day Festival on April 13 and the floral festivities will continue until early May, according to organizers.

The month-long event is free and open to the public at the garden located on West 89th Street. The tulip bulbs were planted in November and are finally blooming for the season.
