Trump Gives Shout-Out to Tomi Lahren: ‘A Truly Outstanding and Respected Young Woman!’

President Donald Trump gave a shout-out to one of his biggest fans on Wednesday: Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren.

“Everybody is with Tomi Lahren, a truly outstanding and respected young woman!,” said Trump, also tagging the official “Fox & Friends” Twitter account.

Lahren went on “Fox & Friends” to discuss a jarring moment on Sunday when someone threw a drink at her while she was having brunch with her parents at a Minneapolis restaurant. Various other men also shouted obscenities at Lahren and her parents. The moments were captured in a series of videos that surfaced yesterday.

“We were just enjoying brunch after I did a show the night before and unfortunately there was a group of people probably around my age that thought it would be funny to throw water at me and then start chanting profanity,” said Lahren. “Not something that I’m not used to, but really disheartening.”

“This was something that was embarrassing for me and embarrassing for my family. At the end of the day, I’m a person and I do get humiliated and embarrassed just like anyone else,” she added that she wasn’t going to let people stop her from speaking her mind.

It’s the second incident of a Fox News personality being attacked with water. Last July, Fox News host Kat Timpf shared a story about how she had been attacked by a man who poured a bottle of water on her head during an event in Brooklyn.

“Nobody really cares because it was not like acid, it was just water,” she told TheWrap at the time. “My eyes were uncomfortable — they were burning.”
