Troian Bellisario’s Golden Globes 2020 Outfit Featured Half of Her Wedding Dress

Troian Bellisario put a romantic spin on the black and white color trend spotted at this year's Golden Globe Awards. Many of our fave celebs wore chic black and white color combos, but the Pretty Little Liars star was probably the only star to incorporate a wedding dress into her outfit.

Appearing at the Amazon after party with husband Patrick Adams, Troian was spotted in a pink and white dress. The top of the dress featured a cross pattern of pink fabric and spaghetti straps, while the bottom featured a long, flowing white skirt. Troian later shared on Instagram that half of the gown came from her wedding dress, writing, "Home by 11. Eating ice cream. Happy #goldenglobes2020."

As fans may recall, Troian wore the dress, designed by Cortana and purchased at Loho Bride, to her December 2016 wedding. For the fairy tale-like ceremony, the dress featured three-quarter length sleeves and a V-neckline in the front and back. She paired the princess-inspired gown with a headpiece made of greenery from Amaroq.

With the fashion industry continuing to attempt more sustainable practices, Troian's look could possibly inspire others to follow suit. From prom gowns to homecoming dresses, we're definitely envisioning a future where our fave formalwear gets a second life. And even if you don't have a designer on hand to help you recreate Troian's fashion idea, you could always donate your clothing or pass along pieces to a friend.

Troian wasn't the only former PLL cast member making a fashion statement at the Golden Globes. Her former costars, Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell, were also photographed at various after parties, wearing dresses dotted in sequins and floral-prints, respectively.
