Fierce, hunty, slay sleigh!

This year, we’re calling upon Trixie Mattel and Katya to save Christmas. The two RuPaul’s Drag Race legends are the stars of a new animated short, A Trixie & Katya Christmas, which Out is exclusively premiering today.

This original animated short tells the story of a gay bar named Nutcrackers, which is located on the far end of the North Pole. The bar is facing foreclosure, which means that the citizens of the village won’t be able to watch the latest season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. So Baby Brian calls upon Katya, who’s deep in retirement (but still wigged and vertical), to return to the stage and save drag… but will she?!

The time has come for a very Drag Race holiday miracle. Good luck, and DON’T f*ck it up!

A Trixie & Katya Christmas 🥜❄️🧑🏼‍🎄 Original Animated Holiday Short | RuPaul’s Drag Race 👠✨

As SNL’s Stefon would describe it, A Trixie & Katya Christmas has everything: an out-of-drag Baby Brian who keeps the holiday spirit alive, Katya pole-dancing in front of a sexy, shirtless, zaddy Santa during a dream sequence, Katya serving pure slay-anna while riding the sleigh to save Nutcrackers, and even an in-drag Trixie who gets unfrozen to perform live music. Bonus points for the entire thing taking place in a really cold environment – no AC issues here, henny!

A Trixie & Katya Christmas will be available this Wednesday, Dec. 20 on the official YouTube channel for RuPaul’s Drag Race. The film was animated by Cartuna, the same Brooklyn-based animation studio that created the Bianca Saves Christmas short from 2022.

We always knew that we could count on Trixie and Katya to save Christmas… and now they’ve done it. They’ve really done it. We did it, ho-ho-ho!
