The New Trix Cereal Bars Will Have You Feeling Like a Kid on a Saturday Morning Again
There are various foods and snacks that instantly remind you of your childhood, and many of us probably have at least one cereal that does just that. If yours is General Mills’ Trix, then we have some very good news for you: There are new Trix Treats that will remind you of a simpler time when all we had to worry about was having enough milk for a second bowl of cereal.
The new Trix Treats are bars that let you eat cereal on the go (which also means that you don’t have to worry about having enough milk). They’re made up of Trix cereal in six shapes — that’s right, the actual fruit shapes, not the round puffs — including watermelon, grapes, and orange. They’re held together by a confectionary coating, aka the milk element.
The General Mills treats have been spotted in Walmart by various Instagram accounts, including @cereallife. They were also recently listed on Meijer’s website, so the good news is that they’re not exclusive to any store. The cereal bars come in packs of 16, so you’ll have plenty to keep in your pantry or bag for when you need a quick breakfast or snack.
The Trix treats join an already solid list of other bars modeled after General Mills cereals. Hopefully, they earn in a spot in your rotation of Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bars, Lucky Charms Bars, Golden Grahams S’mores Bars, and more. They even join another Trix bar that, if you ask us, doesn’t look nearly as good as this new one.
