TripAdvisor: Best Times to Save on Winter's Top Destinations

For many people, the winter months are a time to relax from the insanity of holiday travel and stay home, putting off further travel plans until the warm arrival of spring break.
But take the road less traveled and venture to the most popular destinations now, and you’ll spend a lot less cash than those folks.
The travel site TripAdvisor released a Winter Vacation Value Report highlighting the cheapest weeks to visit its 10 most popular winter stops, plus the average cost of spending a week there when you factor in the costs of airfare, hotels, meals, and tours.

All in all, Orlando is the cheapest top destination to visit this winter. (Information: TripAdvisor)
As you might expect, the most affordable weeks for nine of the 10 cities was in January, though the exact weeks varied. Also, it should be no surprise that most of the top 10 winter destinations are in warm-weather locations (New York being a notable exception).
