OK3—Sierra, Kenna, Courtney

A Girl Named Tom may not be the only trio to ever win The Voice if OK3 has anything to say about it. In fact, the Oklahoma vocal group were inspired by Girl Named Tom and Sorelle to reunite after a four-year split to audition for the singing competition.

Comprised of Kenna, 22, Sierra, 23, and Courtney, 25, the trio met through their vocal coach, who was at their Blind Audition, and became best friends when they were teenagers. They formed OK3 and performed in shows and competitions together.

“These girls are like my sisters,” Courtney said. “We laugh like sisters, and we fight like sisters. Stepping on The Voice stage with these girls means so much. They have been through every single part of my life. The good, the bad, everything.”

Courtney said she’s the laid-back chill one, kind of goofy, Kenna claimed to be the sassy one, and Sierra said she’s the energetic one.

But they all had plenty of energy when they took The Voice stage for their Blind Audition of Meghan Trainor’s “Made You Look” and got all four coaches—John Legend, Dan + Shay, Chance the Rapper and Reba McEntire—to turn their chairs.

John tried to convince them to join his team by saying, “I grew up arranging songs for groups. Then when I went to college, I was an award-winning a cappella arranger. If there’s nothing else that I do, I do this. I feel like there’s a lot of space for a big pop girl group right now and I would love to be your coach.”

Then Shay said, “My heart is racing right now because I want you guys so bad. That was my favorite performance that we’ve seen so far.”

And Dan added, I don’t want to bash John too early. He’s saying he’s an award-winning arranger for groups, we’re an award-winning group.”

Shay said, “This is literally what we do. We have two, we could get a third. I have two sisters. I grew up singing in the church and literally doing what you girls are doing right now. Your voices are phenomenal.”

John tried to get a word in, but Shay said, “John, ‘Your time is up.’”

Even so, John interrupted saying, “They don’t know how to arrange for three. They only know how to arrange for two. They’ll be so confused.”

As if that wasn’t enough, John said, “I need a partner to help me.” Then he hit his button and a blue inflatable tube man popped up with “Pick Team Legend” printed on it. John said, “Me and my partner can help you do what you need to do.”

Then Shay pulled out the celebrity friend, name-dropping card, saying, “Meghan Trainor, good friend of mine. We’ve worked with all kinds of artists in all different genres, like Charlie Puth, collaborating. Justin Bieber. You might have heard of him. Just make the right decision and we’ll be praying for you guys.”

Finally, Chance got the chance to speak his piece. He said, “I feel that John doing that inflatable tube man thing has taken all my spirit away. It was so loud and distracting. But you guys did great. A couple of seasons ago, I worked with a trio [Sorelle]. I have a lot of fun working with harmonics and arrangements for groups. I can expand your power in terms of what genres you want to play around with. Also, they’re in a group, he arranges for groups, but I have a ‘3’ hat.”

The ladies of OK3 admitted they had noticed that.

Finally, it was Reba’s turn to pitch. “When I was growing up, I was part of the Singing McEntires. I love the harmonies.” Then she got in on the silliness by pulling out one of her Grammys.

John chimed in, “I have a few of those.”

Dan said, “We have three of those in the duo category.”

Reba asked, “But did you bring them? I travel with mine.” Then she got serious and said, “I would love to have you gals on my team. We would have a blast. Also, if you’re part of the Reba team, you get chicken tenders.”

Shay said: “I will give you all the money in my wallet right now.”

John said, “Ladies, I’m not going to try to bribe you with cash, but I do have jackets.”

Dan tried to disparage that: “Those are going for five bucks on ebay.”

Reba interrupted the men, saying, “John, you’ve had your say.” She pulled out her scepter and said, “I am the queen of country music. I’m just saying, I would love to have you in my kingdom.”

Then Dan and Shay got the audience to hold up signs with their names on it.

John said, “I feel you need clear direction from one coach.” Meaning him, but then he suggested that OK3 call their coach to the stage to help them make their decision, which they did.

But guess what? Their decision won’t be revealed until Tuesday night’s episode.

The Voice returns for season 25 tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, streaming next day on Peacock.
