I Tried TikTok's Favorite New Exfoliating Mitt & Was Shocked at How Much Dead Skin Easily Came Off

A couple of weeks back, I wrote a story on a new exfoliating mitt getting rave reviews from TikTok for its effectiveness at removing dead skin. Not only were the TikTok videos pretty convincing, the shopper reviews were as well. In fact, one shopper called it the “best exfoliating mitt I have ever used,” while another gave it a perfect five-star rating for all the dead skin that was “sloughed away.” Naturally, it made me curious. With summer fast approaching, I thought there’s no better time to start prepping my skin for shorts season than now.

The duo features both the exfoliating mitt and the brand’s first-of-its-kind Pre-Exfoliating Foam that basically softens and helps to “lift” the dead skin, making it easier to remove with the glove. The combo is truly a game-changer that left me surprised at how effective it was.
The Results
In the middle of my shower, I started with the Pre-Exfoliating Foam. I pretty much applied it just how I do with shaving cream, and the feel is exactly how you’d imagine it to be (i.e. like a foaming soap). I left it on for a bit to let the product soak into the skin (the instructions recommend leaving it on for about 15 seconds), then I took the tan NERRĀ Exfoliating Mitt and began exfoliating.
I’ve tried my share of exfoliating tools, but NERRĀ’s exfoliating mitt stood out to me for how gentle it feels on the skin. It also works super fast. I was shocked to see how much dead skin was coming off as soon as I started exfoliating. Given the rave reviews the mitt has gotten, I should’ve expected it. However, it was still surprising to actually experience it for myself. It was both gross and weirdly satisfying. Once I rinsed all the dead skin off, I was seriously amazed at how smooth my skin felt.
But here’s the bonus product you’ll want to grab if you want the smoothest, softest skin of your life (and no, I’m not exaggerating!). Applying the NERRĀ Dry Body Oil to the exfoliated areas post-shower was the icing on top. The non-greasy body oil left my arms and legs so soft and smooth for days (!), I was completely obsessed with how my skin felt. I had rough patches on my arms, but the combo of the foam, the exfoliating mitt, and the body oil removed them completely.
In short, I highly recommend testing out NERRĀ’s skin-smoothing body care products if you can. They truly are luxurious and just the perfect way to practice self-care.
