There are three moments in pop culture that I think about often. The first being, the "Scary Island" vacation on season 3 of The Real Housewives of New York City. (I mean, how could you not?) The second, when Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt reunited for a virtual table read of Fast Times at Ridgemont High. And the third? Obviously when Gwyneth Paltrow showed everyone who's boss at her unforgettable ski trial last year and was awarded a $1 reward. Iconic doesn't even begin to cut.

During the courtroom spectacle, the lifestyle guru turned up at court wearing a number of stellar ensembles. She basically became the living example of the low key rich bitch. At the time, when I was covering her style for T&C, I remember I couldn't get over how she outdid herself day after day with polished looks. But there was one outfit, in particular, that caught my attention. You probably know exactly which piece was the scene stealer: the G. Label Noah Belted Crew Cardigan.

From the straight fit to the slightly flared cuffs to the marbled buttons to that perfect cream hue, everything about it was is beautiful. Much to my (and GP followers') disappointment, the piece was sold out at the time and remained out of stock until late last year. And once I got whiff that the cardigan was available again (shoutout to Puck for the update), I knew I had to get my hands on one before it sells out again.

The cardigan is just as you'd expect—but 100x better up close. The fit is flattering, yes, but it's the texture that takes the cake. It's knitted from 100% virgin wool, so its warming and lightweight.... but not so lightweight that you want to add another layer underneath. No, this cardigan is deliciously soft and feels yummy on the body.

And wait until you put it on with denim. The cardigan was made for jeans—whether flared, straight, or skinny. Or you can wear it as Gwyneth did in court with camel leather pants. Or perhaps you want to pair it with a skirt? Look at the models on the product page on the goop site for inspiration. Basically, what I am trying to say is this top is a true MVP.

The one thing I will say is, the cardigan does run small (especially if you have a larger bust) so I would recommend sizing up from your usual for the perfect fit. I packed it for a recent trip to Aspen (because why wouldn't you?!) and am not ashamed to admit I fully leaned into my Gwyneth ski trial era during my time in the Rockies.

While she may get a lot of flack for her woowoo wellness practices (no judgement here), Gwyneth makes up for it with her taste in style. Now... do I need to save up for a Foundrae or Robinson Pelham necklace too to complete the GP-approved look? TBD.
