Mons Røisland, born on January 28, 1997, is a prominent Norwegian snowboarder renowned for his achievements in various competitions. His accolades include a bronze medal in slopestyle at the Winter X Games and a silver medal in the Big Air event at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Røisland's journey in snowboarding has been marked by consistent excellence, evident in his 20th place finish in the big air event at the 2017 World Championships, followed by a 12th place in slopestyle at the 2018 Winter Olympics and a commendable 7th place in the slopestyle event at the 2019 World Championships.

Notably, Røisland continued his streak of success by securing podiums at the 2023 World Championships in Bakuriani, Georgia, where he claimed the 4th position in slopestyle and the 2nd position in big air.

Røisland's passion for snowboarding began at the age of eight during a three-month stop in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, on a trip around the world. He has expressed admiration for Aleksander Østreng, a fellow Team Norway rider, describing him as "the sickest rider to watch in contests, cruising park, powder, or street."
